Pit Bulls that are not pitbulls

Here's a perfect example of "genes" the dog on the left would be labelled as a pitbull and either, poisoned, stabbed, shot, fed sausages and razor blades, and/or stolen and tied to a pole outside the next counties dog pound, (all tactics used and recommended by DBO Cultists) and it's a perfect example of a mixed breed dog with no APBT in it at all and yet it looks like a pitbull?

 .
Litter mates? They look completely different!

Casey and Carrie are 8-year-old littermates who are said to be a mix of Lab/German Shepherd/Boxer. Whatever their mix is, it is unique and very striking! Casey is a big boy, weighing in at 92 pounds. Carrie is 67 pounds. Carrie and Casey have lived with other dogs and are reportedly appropriately social when meeting new dogs. They have not ever lived with or been observed around cats. The pair have always spent their days outside but have been brought in at night to sleep with their family’s children or in the family home Ideally they will be able to be inside during the day if they so desire in their new home Both dogs can do stairs and since they are what we consider to be “young seniors” they would more than likely enjoy getting out for walks and exercise on a regular basis. Carrie has been known to jump a 4 foot fence so a taller fence is a must for her safety Casey is said to be a very happy dog who is always delighted to see people and is described as “a goofball”. Carrie is described as “very smart and quiet”; she loves receiving attention. The hope is that Carrie and Casey can remain together as they have always been. They are currently in Snohomish, WA. ready for their forever home. For contact information email: placement@olddoghaven.org ODH has not met this dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.

Vera Roncelli Definitely kill it. Don't let it get away and attack someone else.

Crazy. So this loose dog somehow ended up in my backyard and rammed the shit out the door trying to get to my little puppy! It looks like he broke his wire. He ...

  • Carol Ashley Animal Control would be the first place I would call and say its an emergency, dogs in your yard and wont allow you out your door or the police, but I would be concerned about your own dogs, since they carry guns if you call the police, some panic and shot more than the dog causing the problem. Hope everything works out

  • Vera Roncelli I despise this breed. Two of them mauled my mama and baby goat to death a couple years ago. I posted about my disdain for this breed on my timeliness and got verbally attacked by one of my friend's daughters because I hate pitbulls. She then unfriended me. I checked with her a few months later to see if she was done being mad at me and she accused me of "coming at her and disrespecting her." What?! I can't figure out is how I disrespected her when she was the one that came at me! Just goes to show how far gone Pitbull supporters really are.

  • Heather Jackson You can't argue with stupid Vera , maybe age and experience will change her but other than that she fits into the nutter category. I know I have gotten through quite a few friends  others unfriended me but they had just adopted mixes , I sent them each a private message. They will regret their decision , it's sad

  • Laurie Miller Musselman Vera Roncelli, what a tragedy, that pitbulls attacked and killed your sweet goats. The problem with most pitbull defenders is that they are deluded liars. Your friend's daughter fits the category. Since she is a pitbull defender and a deluded liar, she attacked you with deluded lies, because that's what she is. When these types of people feel their object of worship is being shone in a true light, one that shows how vicious and dangerous the dog is, they will then attack the person bearing the facts, because they are idiots that enjoy attacking someone, and they enjoy it when their aggressive dogs attack and kill also. She's one of those types. They should be avoided at all costs.

  • Vera Roncelli Yeah. It's in unfortunate that she's the oldest daughter of one of my best friends. She's is very immature, I think she's 20 now. No loss for me though cuz it's her mom I'm friends with.

  • Stu Mahaffey Ish Calleros This has been a most entertaining thread. So the neighbors dogs kept barking and this crazy dog jumped like 10 feet onto the rock wall and jumped into the neighbors yard and u can hear them barking at each other. It's 2 on 1. Dammit I can't see lol it's a Mexican standoff going on in the neighbors backyard.

  • Penny Spears Sorry, I thought this was funny, one of the comments: "have puppy take one for the team."  I hope the neighbors actually DO have two pits, maybe we'll have three less pits in the world.
