Really disturbing and I hope that they will decide to adopt this baby out and keep the Pit Bull instead..I really mean that, there is no "parental right"to endanger your wife and baby.   Earl Upham Sonya Del Rio Cerezo, you are so right about stopping at nothing to promote the family dog and the horrible thing about it all is that aside from those who actually know better, (like breeders, dog fighters, etc.) these people believe their dogs are great family dogs and are just trying to prove their point. We may know better because we have gained the wisdom but they have not. Their "EXPERIENCE" tells them otherwise. Experience having a family member killed, whether an human or another pet is not worth the risk. Unfortunately they don't see the danger yet.

The story just says that the husband came home and found that the male pit bull had bit Darla Napora in the neck. How freaky, creepy, and morbid! That sent a chill right from my neck down to my spine, just reading your post and realizing what that devil dog did to that pregnant lady. Geez, to think my first comment on this page was that the dog in the above video was going to eat the baby. I had no idea! Thanks for filling me in ,Penny.

  Bonny Thomas Lee No ya'all the best part, the most unbelievable part, the most stomach turning, gut wrenching part, is this..Greg Napora the devoted husband asked and received ,that his young pregnant wife's ashes be interred with Ol' Gunner. After all this big Ol' Sweet Pibble did not really mean to kill the 32 year old. As the news account from Pacifica CA. states, Greg(the so-called husband, must have missed that part of the marriage vows!) considered that the attack came "out of the blue", since after all they had the dog since it was a "puppy". I have been married for over 40 years ,and I said in "sickness, health, rich or poor, better or worse, don't recall including devotion to high risk dog above all else.   Julia Lewis Nothing, it seems, will make the pit bull community stop and think twice about owning a pit bull, not even the ghastly death of Darla Napora. Talk about being in denial. However, I've got a feeling that the tide might be starting to turn in that some former pit bull owners are starting to realise the dangers of owning these dogs.
